Building Personalized Slices of the GeoWeb

The GeoStack has matured to the point where most online tools have a geospatial component and even desktop tools and operating systems are enabling users to geotag and geolocate media, files, stories, and themselves. However, the quality and usefulness of the content is not always apparent.

In addition, sensors are coming online that are publishing huge volumes of real-time data. We’re becoming awash in masses of geospatial data and the next question will be how to manage, analyze, and utilize it all.

This presentation will discuss solutions that have been developed to enable users to build personalized slices of the GeoWeb and find interesting localized content.
