Cloud Serviceability -- The Forest through the Trees
How do we build hierarchical management systems that scale to the dynamic and economically efficient world of cloud computing? If a server fails, what we care about? How do we instrument for resource planning and service availability? How do I link fail in place architectures to systemic observability and telemetry? What do we need to do as an industry to better understand the architectural context and nature of cloud infrastructures to systemically provide the architectural context vs a single node view of management and monitoring?
This session will explore these issues and help form a working group around future cloud telemetry, observability, and policy-control systems. Will likely include some technology demos.
