Storage at Scale
At Google, we have built several large-scale storage systems on top of commodity machines and networking. This talk will briefly describe our storage infrastructure, highlight some of the approaches we use to achieve reliability and availability, and discuss future challenges.
Sean Quinlan

Sean Quinlan is a principal engineer at Google, where he has worked on a number of large-scale systems infrastructure projects, including the Sawmill logs system and the Google Files System (GFS). Prior to Google, Sean was a member of technical staff at Bell Labs.
