This is your opportunity to present your experiences of working with Ubuntu to a knowledgeable audience that is keen to learn more and participate. Previous presenters have enthused about the key contacts they were able to make and new opportunities discovered after talking about their use of Ubuntu.
Submissions are welcome on any aspect of developing, using, customizing, or deploying Ubuntu. Ubuntu is opening new opportunities for individuals and businesses, just as your use of Ubuntu takes the world of open source further. We want to hear your challenges and successes, your technical and business priorities for Ubuntu and open source. Possible areas of interest include (this list is not exhaustive):
To increase the chances of having your presentation proposal accepted for Ubuntu Live, please remember: the Program Committee is evaluating proposals based on this submission and this submission alone. Tell us as much as you can about your proposed presentation. Specifics will help us evaluate it more fairly, while vague proposals will likely be rejected. Conference attendees want to learn. Articulate what you can teach them, and be clear about the real world Ubuntu experience you bring. Ubuntu Live is a conference for human beings (of all types). Specify the audience you are targeting (e.g., technical, business, ISV, CIO/CTO, etc.). The Program Committee will be selecting a set of presentations to cover a range of audience interests.
Limited speaking opportunities are also available through conference sponsorship. Contact Sharon Cordesse at (707) 827-7065 or scordesse@oreilly.com for more information.
