Eric Redmond is Director of Development and Technology Evangelist (whichever sounds more impressive) for MongoHQ. He has been involved in open source and industry software for over 15 years, working in a nearly every software role imaginable. He was co-author/contributor of two Java books (“Maven: The Definitive Guide” and “Java Power Tools”, O’Reilly), a new book “Seven Databases in Seven Weeks” (Pragmatic), a few articles, and organizer of several technology groups. He currently resides in Portland with wife Noelle where he draws crudcomic.com, takes photos and makes things out of glass.
