Gail E. Harris

Gail E. Harris is a Principal of Instantiated Software, a company whose primary business is applying agile methodologies and open-source technologies to deliver custom-developed applications to start-up companies. Between development projects, Gail does project management of complex enterprise systems for large organizations, as well as requirements engineering and business analysis. She also is marketing a squash club management system, developed at Instantiated, that includes online court booking and a mathematically and statistically sophisticated player rating system.

Gail has over 20 years experience in the IT industry spanning management and technical roles. She holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and is PMP certified. As a consultant with Deloitte Consulting and other consulting companies prior to joining Instantiated, Gail provided software development expertise and technical leadership to government and industry.

Gail is a talented speaker and trainer. She has given technical presentations, led tutorials and been a panellist at major conferences, and was Conference Chair of OOPSLA 2008.
