Running a Successful Ruby User Group: What it Takes, and How to Make it Last
Ruby User Groups are an important part of the Ruby ecosystem, and keeping them active, populated and popular is quite the challenge. Some of are in big cities competing with other groups, some of us are in small cities competing with weather, and some of us are just thinking about getting started up.
Running a successful user group takes time, resources and contacts; in this session, User Group organizers and potential organizers will get together to brainstorm, plan and share past experiences, with the intention of all walking away better able to succeed.
