CabooseConf at RailsConf
CabooseConf is the free, hacker-focused part of RailsConf. Skilled Rails coders from all over the world will meet in one room to network, hack and work on their rails projects. In the grand tradition of the unconference, there are very few planned talks (we'll have an open roster where anyone can sign up for a slot) and it will be completely free.
More information on signing up for talks at CabooseConf will be coming soon.
Where and When is CabooseConf Happening?
This year, CabooseConf is happening in conjunction with RailsConf at the same time and same place (Las Vegas Hilton). It will be happening all four days: Monday, May 4 - Thursday, May 7.
Who Can Go?
Anyone with a RailsConf badge. If you aren't planning to attend RailsConf but still want to go to CabooseConf, just register for an CabooseConf pass (its free!).
What's Required to Attend?
If you want to come to CabooseConf you'll need to prove your skills and dedication to Open Source by writing a patch to an open source Ruby or Rails project.
Documentation patches to Rails are acceptable (even encouraged!). You'll be asked to submit a link to your code when you register online.
