Ryan Schenk
Application Architect, Marine Biological Laboratory
I develop software at the MBL-WHOI (Marine Biological Laboratory / Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution) Library, trying to find the intersection between biodiversity and aging research. We find taxonomic names, and aging-related data for every species possible. It’s my job to figure out how to store, process, display, and visualize this data, which is currently done (mostly) with Rails.
When not in front of a computer, I enjoy kiteboarding, surfing, sailing, bicycle trials, mountain biking, and sewing.
