Mark Bradford leads the Collaborative Technologies and Metadata group within the Earth Observing Laboratory of the National Center for Atmospheric Research. That means “web and database software for weather scientists.” He first noticed Ruby in 2001 and thought it looked fun; now Rails gives him an excuse to use it.
