I’m a software developer and entrepeneur from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Along with several colleagues I recently organized the Locos x Rails conference in Buenos Aires, the largest Ruby/Rails conference in Spanish-speaking Latin America to date.

I am a founder and the head of technology for an SEM/SEO agency with offices in Seattle, San Jose and Buenos Aires.

I’m the author of several Ruby gems and plugins, such as FriendlyId, Disqus for Ruby, HAML Scaffold, HasImage and TokyoModel.

My most recent project is a new Argentina-based company called RubySouth whose purpose is to promote and popularize the use of Ruby in Latin America through events, seminars, and training materials in Spanish. We’ll soon be doing workshops in several cities in Argentina.
