Nick Plante is a programmer, author, community organizer and (most of all) a nice guy. He’s currently co-founder of Mogoterra, where he works on creating innovative developer tools and web testing services.

Nick is founder and chief organizer of the Rails Rumble innovation competition, an annual event promoting entrepreneurship and developer productivity in the Rails community. He also maintains the community documentation site rdoc.info, contributes to several open source projects, and has spoken at industry events. Nick’s book, Practical Rails Plugins, was published by Apress in June, 2008.
