As the lead developer of Mack, (http://www.mackframework.com) and the Director of Architecture for Helium.com, I’ve been exploring all the different frameworks out there, and there are some great features, techniques, and implementations that could not only improve Rails, but the community as a whole. People should be free to discuss their use of these alternatives in an open forum and discuss how, and why, they’ve used them instead of Rails.
