Rails Named Routes in Javascript
Moderated by Steven Bristol, Less Everything
The horribly named Less Js Routes plugin generates (based on your routes file) all the Javascript needed to easily get the url of your controller/action/id/paramters/verb. But it gets better: with one function you can execute and return the server call via ajax. But it gets better: if you use the formate for json, rather than a string, a json object will be returned to you. But it gets better: rather that just get the ajax results as a string or json, you can instead automatically execute the javascript that is returned.
Does it work with Protoype? Yes Does it work with jQuery? Yes. Will it make you start to fall in love with Javascript? Hells yes.
