Design for Developers - A Hands-On Workshop
People who can write awesome code and also have some design chops are rare and valuable. If you’ve ever wanted to get started with design, this is your chance.
This workshop will guide you through the design process as you go from sketch to Photoshop mockup to Rails layout implementation. Along the way, you’ll learn how to pick colors, how to choose fonts, and how to do a CSS-based layout. You’ll get a chance to use Photoshop and Illustrator to mock up your design and build a logo.
The best way to learn is to do, so bring a laptop and get ready to create.
