Writing Open Source started as three-day conference, it is now a cross-project initiative with members from the following documentation teams: BSD, GNOME, Ubuntu, Drupal, FLOSS Manuals, PHP and WordPress (and it continues to grow daily). Our projects include writing a usable and relevant style guide, documentation-specific personas to help you build your documentation teams and a best practices guide.
We are keen to build on the momentum of the conference and to help all open source projects improve their documentation. If you have best practices to share, or need help yourself, this session is a must.
