Future signals and current opportunities at the nexus of the open source and mobile communities

OMX, the first-ever O’Reilly Open Mobile Exchange, is for everyone involved in building out the open source mobile space, including platforms, standards, applications, hardware, integration, browsers, location, and services.

This full day of insightful conversations, demos, technical presentations, and panel discussions brings together innovators from a broad swath of perspectives and backgrounds to share ideas and foster new thinking across technologies. As the Web becomes one of the most crucial components of extending the mobile opportunity, this event explicitly seeks to bridge web apps and mobile functions.

To submit ideas for speakers, topics or suggestions that will help shape OMX at OSCON, please send them to: omx-idea@oreilly.com

The Open Mobile Exchange is an interactive meeting ground for:

  • Programmers and developers
  • Business developers
  • Product managers
  • Technologists and hackers
  • Enthusiasts and implementers
  • Entrepreneurs

Moderated by GigaOM’s Surj Patel, OMX happens on Monday, July 21, in conjunction with the first day of the tenth anniversary OSCON. Be the signal—join us for a many-to-many conversation at the intersection of business, technology, the Web, and open source at the O’Reilly Open Mobile Exchange.
