John Sichi

John Sichi

LucidEra

John Sichi is the project founder for LucidDB. He is also a regular contributor to a number of other open-source projects including Mondrian and JGraphT.

John has worked for a number of startups in the database industry, and is one of the co-founders of LucidEra, an on-demand business intelligence service for which he is the chief architect. He also serves as president of the Eigenbase Project, a non-profit foundation which supports LucidDB and other open-source DBMS projects.

Most of what he knows which is worth knowing was learned while obtaining a BS in EECS at UC Berkeley.
