Adam Simon

Adam Simon

Socialbomb

Adam Simon designs games and other interactive systems that reflect and refract the relationships we have with each other and with our environment. He is currently a masters candidate at NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP), conducting research in game design, pervasive gaming, ubiquitous computing, and social software. His work includes Socialbomb, a real-world reputation game, Sneaker Seed, which exploits urban density to increase data density, and Rumplestiltskin, a gameplay-generated performance.

He has worked as a producer and wireless consultant for area/code, produced original online content in the Digital Media division of CBS, and designing content delivery strategy for marketing firm Conductor. In a previous version, he graduated from UCLA with a BA in theater, followed by a couple of years working in live performance in Los Angeles, including directing independent theater and stage managing for Center Theater Group.
