This session will provide attendees with a comprehensive overview of the architectural principals and components of the LiMo Platform. The LiMo Foundation embraces a “collaborative source” development model whereby its platform reflects a combination of frameworks developed and contributed by LiMo member companies as well as by the Open Source community. LiMo Foundation has over 50 members, representing over half a billion mobile subscribers and hundreds of millions of devices shipped on an annual basis.

ACCESS Co. Ltd.

David “Lefty” Schlesinger is Director of Open Source Technologies at ACCESS Co., Ltd., and ACCESS’ representative to the LiMo Foundation Architecture Council. He works principally on ACCESS’ open source strategy and community relations, and represents ACCESS in a number of industry and community initiatives.

Lefty is well-known in the open source community and is a frequent presenter and panelist at open source-related and industry conferences and events, and has spoken in the past year at the Linux Foundation Collaboration Summit, the GNOME Users & Developers European Conference (GUADEC), the Ottawa Linux Symposium, Open Source in Mobile, Interop, LugRadio Live USA, and AJAXWorld’s iPhone Developers’ Summit.
