This session will focus on the new “Architecture of Collaboration” implemented in the ICEcore project. See how the ICEcore platform allows you to build applications that solve business problems while encouraging collaboration among your team members. During this session an application will be developed that takes advantage of the social networking features of ICEcore while solving a common business problem.

Brent McConnell is the Director of Community Management for the ICEcore project, an open source team collaboration software endeavor. Prior to joining ICEcore as a paid member of the team, Brent spent 7 years with Hewlett Packards working in their Linux Expertise Center helping HP partners take full advantage of the Linux kernel on HP hardware.

David LaPalomento

ICEcore

David LaPalomento is an open-source software engineer for ICEcore. Other than his work in teaming software, he maintains an active interest in the development of programming languages and distributed computing.
