The session will introduce NotORM which is a PHP library for reading relational data from the database. Its API is so expressive that the idea of the code can’t be usually written in a compacter way but the code is still very easy to understand or modify.
The speed of the library is achieved by sending a constant number of queries and by automatically retrieving only those columns which will be really used. These concepts will be explained on the session.
NotORM uses PDO and it is tested with MySQL, SQLite, PostgreSQL, MS SQL and Oracle.
