This session is geared towards those already familiar with replication ideas. It contains some low-level topics for discussion on the architecture, but should be easily understood by most attendees.

Discussion of the Drizzle replication roadmap will show attendees how Drizzle differs from MySQL and what ideas we are considering implementing in future versions. It will also be an opportunity for the community to express their ideas on what they would like to see implemented.

David joined Rackspace in August 2010 to work as a Software Developer on the Drizzle project. Before joining the Drizzle team, David was a C/C++ developer at LSSiDATA and a Support Engineer for MySQL/Sun. He is currently based in Durham, NC.
