Replication is one of the mostly used features of the MySQL server and prominent in large-scale systems. Replication is continuously developing and there are many ideas of how it should develop.
The community plays a very important part in deciding the priorities. The possibilities for how replication can be used are endless and it is important for us to know what is used, what is needed, and what is missing.
In this BoF, the replication leads will be present to discuss the features of MySQL 5.5 and plans for the future, answer questions, and also show some of the ideas that we have.
If you want to influence the direction of where MySQL Replication is going, or if you are curious of where MySQL Replication is heading, this is a session that you should not miss.
