With the GA version of PBXT soon to be released, this presentation will tell you how to get the most out of the storage engine.
Learn how to easily build, install and tune the engine. All information is relevant to developers, DBAs and anyone interested in getting started with PBXT. Topics covered include: how to optimize a database schema for PBXT, what types of applications are best suited to the engine, the latest features and performance results, what you will find in versions 1.1, 1.5 and what to expect in version 2.0.
I will discuss the architecture of PBXT and how you can apply this knowledge to monitor the storage engine’s performance. Learn which configurations are favorable for performance with special attention to file systems, solid state technology and current hardware developments.
