Monitoring and Analyzing MySQL Performance With dim_STAT

dim_STAT tool is existing for over 10 years now, but I never really take time to bring it to the masses :-)

dim_STAT has a Web based interface and may run on any UNIX server (currently Solaris and Linux packages are shipped). The tool is collecting a wide list of stats from the server(s) and save them in the local MySQL database – so most of MySQL lovers are very happy as they may access all collected data natively via MySQL and prepare any kind of activity reports, etc.

During presentation several features will be covered:

• Single host analyzing
• Multi-host analyzing
• Reporting
• Detailed MySQL stats (oriented single host analyzing)
• Compact MySQL stats (oriented multi-host analyzing)
• Monitoring InnoDB stats
• Monitoring InnoDB Mutex waits

Presentation will include examples of the real monitoring an analyzing, as well a short demo will be presented.
