This session is a comprehensive look at the state of flash storage today. There’s so much new technology that it’s hard to understand what’s available. This session explains technologies and products: Flash, SSD, FusionIO, MLC, SLC, NAND, and NOR. It looks at benefits and drawbacks of each of them, including a price/space/performance comparison. You’ll see benchmarks and you’ll learn how to get the most from flash storage for MySQL.
