Daniel has worked in the MySQL organization for the past 5 years, as he was originally responsible for the launch and growth of the MySQL organization in the Asia Pacific region. As the first employee in the region, he played a key role in expanding both the business and community efforts for MySQL. Currently residing in Tokyo, he is currently responsible for sales, partner and community development around the Asia Pacific region. He has engaged with several high profile Web 2.0, Enterprise and OEM customers in embracing MySQL. His ongoing efforts have successfully fostered the growth and contributions of several community and commercial developers in guiding and promoting open source development surrounding MySQL technologies.
