    • Show small demo of data loading to 5 MySQL databases at once.
  • The cloud (10’)
    • What is cloud computing? (Typical examples)
    • Configuring slaves to call home (auto-config schemas)
    • How does it work? (register slave, get list of slaves)
    • Where it makes sense
    • Where it doesn’t make sense
  • Cloud examples (15’)
    • Create and administer MySQL databases in parallel. (short sample on 2 or more slaves, depending on the availability of hardware)
    • Load a set of data into a (partitioned) MySQL database table on N hosts to parallelize lookups. (example of database partitioning)
