Why Attend

Quality Time with the MySQL Development Team
Take advantage of this rare opportunity to meet face to face with a huge core group of engineers who are in the process of developing MySQL. Share ideas and get your toughest questions answered from MySQL experts. Bring your team, your laptops, and leave with new insights in how to build high performance scale-out applications using MySQL.

Four Days, One Roof, Unlimited Opportunities
Fast-paced sessions, a handshake with your programming hero, late night hacking, a beer in the bar with someone you've only known via email—the MySQL Conference & Expo packs a wealth of big ideas, know-how, and connections into four concentrated days and nights. You'll be able to apply what you've learned immediately and be prepared for what the future brings.

The Best Hands-On Learning You Will Find on MySQL
The quality of the sessions and tutorials at the MySQL Conference & Expo is very high. Year after year, the most frequent comment the conference team receives from attendees is that it is sometimes very difficult to choose which great simultaneous session to attend. From novice to expert-level sessions, developer to DBA, business to technical, the sessions provide expert insight into solving architectural, design, and development issues your organization faces.

MySQL Conference & Expo Kudos

"Coming back from the MySQL Conference a few months ago, one thing was very clear: The ecosystem I’d long expected to develop around MySQL has really come of age. The expo hall was packed with hardware vendors hawking their MySQL appliances, software vendors who work with MySQL, consultants, trainers, and various related Open Source projects."
Jeremy Zawodny, Craigslist

"The MySQL Conference brings together the creators of some of the industry’s most massively scaling modern online applications," said Mark Burton, Vice President Global MySQL Practice, Sun Microsystems. "This event is an annual highlight for IT managers and database architects from large corporations, telecom equipment vendors, and Web 2.0 startups who wish to harness the power of MySQL."

"The program schedule is really easy to navigate and tells you about everything there's to partake of. A quick review will show you that the quality of the nononsense presentations will be amazing. (We should thank the MySQL community team for helping ensure a high level of quality and relevance.)"
