MySQL Certification FAQ

Q: Why should I get certified at the Conference?

Q: Will the DBA certification primer tutorial fully prepare me for taking the certification exams?
A: The tutorials are “primers” and in the time provided, the speaker cannot cover every detail you need to know before taking the exams. They are however a great refresher and address some of the key areas needed for the exam. MySQL also offers training courses that will prepare you for all the exams (see mysql.com/training). For self-study for the Developer and DBA exams, you should purchase the MySQL 5.0 Certifcation Study Guide (ISBN 0-672-32812-7).
