Richard L. Peterson M.D. is Managing Member of MarketPsy Capital LLC, a systematic psychology-based asset management firm. Additionally Dr. Peterson gives trainings on applied investment psychology for groups of financial practitioners around the world, including portfolio managers, wealth advisors, and traders. Dr. Peterson is the author of Inside the Investor’s Brain (Wiley, 2007), which was called “outstanding” by Barrons and listed as one of the “best investing reads of 2007” by Kiplinger’s. Dr. Peterson has undergraduate degrees in Electrical Engineering and Arts, and a doctoral degree in medicine (M.D.) from the University of Texas. He is a Board-certified psychiatrist and performed post-doctoral neuroeconomics research at Stanford University.
