Carnet Williams has over a decade of experience in the high-tech field with a recent emphasis on Internet applications. He is co-founder and CEO of Sprout, a Web service that allows anyone to quickly and easily build sophisticated rich media content.
Mr. Williams was associate dean of Information Systems and Chief Information Officer at the Stanford Law School. He was also the director of Invasive Species and World Trade at The Nature Conservancy of Hawaii and academic technology strategic plan consultant for Punahou School. His entrepreneurial activities include serving as Director of Business Development at TurboLinx, a Linux OS and enterprise solutions startup in California and co-founder of NetCorps, a nonprofit technology assistance organization in Oregon.
Mr. Williams is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and holds a law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law. He is a much sought after speaker and consultant by technology, nonprofit, and environmental organizations.
