Alex Bisceglie

Alex Bisceglie is an interactive engineer, designer, and strategist. He is a graduate of the Interactive Telecommunications Program at NYU, and has worked with a number of start-ups and interactive agencies including Drop.io, Socialight, Organic, and the Barbarian Group doing interactive development and design. He specializes in rapid prototyping in software, hardware, and industrial design, and has worked on a number of large-scale web sites and applications. Alex can usually be found hacking Ruby, pigeonholing data-visualization into personal and client projects, and hooking up Arduino boards to sensors.

Pulse is a hacker lab launching a spatial social metrics platform. We build hardware and software tools to track, analyze, and visualize social movement within an environment. The platform relies heavily on open source tools, and said platform will be open sourced itself in the near future.
